Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive SAP business growth in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services sales, a proven track record of SAP product and services sales, and a solid network across industries.
The BDM will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing large-scale deals for SAP offerings including SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BTP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for SAP products and services.

Create and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the Chennai region.

Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT heads, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.

Conduct client presentations, solution pitches, and value propositions for SAP solutions.

Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to design tailored solutions.

Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, proposal drafting, negotiations, and closure.

Maintain an active pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Keep up to date with SAP’s latest offerings, trends, and market positioning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).

8–10 years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development, with at least 4–5 years of SAP solution sales experience.

Strong understanding of SAP products and services (S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Analytics Cloud, etc.).

Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, preferably with SAP partners or consulting companies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain C-level relationships.

Strong local network in Chennai and nearby regions across industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma, or BFSI.
